Cinnamon Vanilla BBQ Sauce – Chiloreo

Instead of tomatoes, Chiloreo uses onion as a base. Glazed to perfection, then blended together with honey, syrup and vanilla to create rich layers of sweetness. Dark sherry vinegar, fresh lemon juice, soy and Worcestershire sauce balance the sweetness with sourness and umami. Three different peppers bring the heat, and cinnamon adds the finishing touch.
